Skin Is In is over, what is the outcome?
Did it create a cultural revolution in Sacramento?
May 22, 2004 - Sacramento, CA
This is certainly the largest and the most prestige fashion show in
the Northern California, as announced. While we are awaiting for the materials
and aftermath from the show lets take a look what local sources write about
the show.
First of all this is how the event was advertised. sacbee.com

Fashion show: Diamond Star Productions of San Francisco will present
a "Skin Is In" fashion show featuring Northern California designers including
James Head of the Bay Area. The event, which is Saturday at the Sheraton
Grand on J Street, showcases models of all sizes to afford them a shot
at the runway experience. Doors open at 7 p.m. with a no-host bar, music
and hors d'oeuvres followed by the show at 9 p.m. Tickets (for ages 21
and over) are $20-$35 and are available at the door, B&B Clothing on
Watt Avenue and New Episodes & Hair Salon on Hillsdale Boulevard.

What a week... The fashion show was a sell out success. There sure
were a lot of people in the lobby of this high class hotel.

A hint for those of you who like crab. Peter and I crashed the Skin
is In party at the Sheraton downtown. Peter said there was so much fresh
crab in his dish, he thinks The Sheraton is losing money it. Well, they
certainly make it up in the bar. Thanks for dinner Peter! You are truly
a great client, collegue and friend.
At this time this is all the material available to us.
