| This event took place on May 14, 2004 in the San Jose night club Glo.
The night of the party preceded a celebrity basketball game "Battle Of
The Bay" between Raiders and 49ers.
The heart of
the party was a mini fashion show presented by fine Bay Area designers
Kami Shade, DK 360 and Idea Clothing. The new line of dress wear from Kami
Shade and DK 360 caught the eyes of the entire audience and possessed everybody's
attention for the duration of the event. The show was such a success that
it interfered with the normal operation of the club bars - all bars totally
lost their sales! This was not foreseen and the management of the club
decided to interrupt the show in order to, perhaps, return the visitors'
minds back to night-clubbing. The power supply for the lights and equipment
was shut off and the show ceased to exist.
It was already obvious that the designers and models certainly earned
their credits even after what they were able to show. However, should the
show had not been terminated prematurely, the audience would have witnessed
a new line of swimming suits designed by Idea Clothing. The premature end
of the show was unfortunate from the designers' and models perspective
as the swimming suit presentation was left until the very end of the show.
